Pressing with the Geberit Mapress pressing jaw
CAUTION
Danger of cutting due to sharp edges on the Geberit
pressfitting
Defective Geberit pressing jaws can cause sharp edges
to form on the Geberit pressfitting.
▶ Only use pressing jaws that are in perfect working
order and are maintained. →See chapter "Avoiding
hazards caused by defective Geberit pressing
attachments", page 23
▶ Check the pressfitting for sharp edges after the
pressing procedure and replace the pressing jaw if
necessary.
1 To open the Geberit pressing jaw, push the ends of the jaw
levers together. Position the open pressing jaw on the fitting
bead of the Geberit pressfitting.
