Maintenance regulations for Geberit pressing jaws
These Geberit pressing jaws are low-maintenance and do not need
to be tested by authorised repair shops if they are used as
intended. However, pressing jaws still require maintenance.
Pressing jaws that are not maintained, or are not professionally
maintained, can cause accidents and injuries.
It is essential to observe the maintenance intervals and
maintenance work outlined below:

Check the Geberit pressing jaw for
externally visible defects such as damage,

defects are present.
Remove deposits in the pressing contour.
Spray the pressing contour with a lubricant
recommended by Geberit and clean with a
cloth.

Check that the Geberit pressing jaw is fully
closed and has sufficient pressing force
using the Geberit PowerTest. If defects are
detected during the check, the pressing
jaw, pressing tool and PowerTest must be
sent to an authorised repair shop.
