5 Using the unit

6. Press Patient In to drive the unit to ‘patient in’ position.
7. Ask the patient to remove any eye glasses, hearing
aids, removable dentures, jewelry (necklaces, tongue
rings, lip rings, etc.) and hair clips, and pins. Place a
protective lead apron on the patient.
