4 DRIVING
Driver Attention Warning provides a warning when the driver is not looking
forward. It can help determine the driver's attention level by analyzing
With the engine on, from the Settings menu select or deselect Setup >
Vehicle > Driver Assistance > Driver Attention Warning to set whether or
not to use each function.
DRIVER ATTENTION WARNING (DAW)
Inattentive Driving Warning: If this is selected, Driver Attention Warning will
inform the driver the driver’s attention level and will recommend taking a break
when the level falls below a certain level.
Leading Vehicle Departure Alert: If this is selected, the function will inform the
driver when the front vehicle departs from a stop.
LANE KEEPING ASSIST (LKA)
Lane Keeping Assist helps detect
lane markers on the road, and helps
prevent the vehicle from departing
the lane while driving.
• To turn LKA ON, press and hold the
Lane Driving Assist button located on
the steering wheel.
• To turn LKA OFF, press and hold the
button again.
LKA operates only when vehicle speed
is above 40 mph and when the in
the instrument cluster is green.
LKA will not operate properly if the
following conditions are present:
• the lane line is not clear
• on sharp bend in a road
• heavy fog
Refer to the Owner's Manual for more
detailed information.
NOTE: During operation, you
may feel the sensation of
steering wheel movement.
Depending on the road
condition (lane markings, tar
strips, cracks, etc.), small
steering inputs may occur.
