1 General information
The installation of an oil-fired system must conform to extensive regulations and requirements. It is there-
fore the duty of the installer to be familiar with all applicable regulations and requirements. Installation, start-
up and maintenance must be performed with utmost care. Fuel oil type EL to DIN 51603 must be used.
The burner must not be operated in rooms with high levels of air humidity (laundry rooms), dust or corrosive
vapours.
Manually operated shut-off valve
Before the burner or typically means a manually operated shut-off valve for separating the burner must be
installed. It must be easily accessible.
Filter and venting device
Upstream of the burner, a filter must be installed to prevent the ingress of foreign matter. To vent the fuel
feed line proper facilities shall be provided.
