System PIN
Changing the system PIN
¤ MENU Settings OK Base OK System PIN OK Enter the
current 4-digit system PIN (default setting: 0000) OK Enter the new 4-digit system
PIN OK
Resetting the system PIN (A170A/A270A only)
Resetting the base to the original PIN 0000:
¤ Unplug the network cable from the base Press and hold the Registration / paging key on
the base At the same time reconnect the network cable to the base Press and hold the
key for at least 5 seconds . . . The base is reset and the system PIN is set to 0000
Repeater support (A170A/A270A only)
You can use a Repeater to increase the range of your base. To do this, you need to activate the
repeater function on the base and register the repeater ( user guide of the repeater).

( = activated)
All handsets are de-registered and must be re-registered. All settings are returned to
default settings.
Repeater support and the mode No Radiation ( p. 26) are mutually exclusive.
