Network and connectivity
From this menu, you configure the settings for the network connections on
your phone (mobile network, WLAN, Bluetooth).
Enabling/disabling airplane mode
Airplane mode interrupts the phone connection to the phone network and
WLAN. This might be required in the interest of safety (such as on aero-
planes).

Mobile network and data
The menu shows the settings for the SIM card(s) inserted. You can specify
which data volume is sent and at what transfer speed.

Select the network type:
The network type determines the bandwidth and so the transf
er speed of
mobile data.

Select the network operator automatically or manually:
 Automatic  OK  Enable or disable automatic search of the
network operator

When you disable the automatic search, a
search is performed for available
network operators.
