5. Commissioning
N.B. To search for the positions of the components, refer to chapter 3. "External components".
Lift the cup warming shelf (Ref. 4) and fill the tank below it. Turn the machine on, positioning the switch
upwards (Ref. 7).
In this way, boiler heating is enabled (Ref. 8).
The machine will start the boiler filling stage and, once completed, will start to fill the steam boiler.
On commissioning, since the two boilers are empty, the tank level must be restored once they have been
filled.
N.B. If filling exceeds 2 minutes, an alarm will be generated. In this case, the master switch (Ref. 7)
must be turned off for 3 seconds and then back on again. In this way, boiler filling will re-start and be
completed.
On conclusion of the last operation, wait for the pressure in the boiler to reach approx. 0.9 bar.
Open the steam tap (Ref. 1) dispensing for approx. 2 seconds and then close it.
Wait until the boiler pressure gauge indicates a value of approx. 0.9 bar.
When the water has been loaded, wait for the coffee boiler, the units and the steam boiler to reach the
temperature set. This status will be highlighted by the two green LEDs, which will remain on without flashing.
At this point, the machine is ready for delivery.
6. Delivery of coffee, hot water and steam
N.B. To search for the positions of the components, refer to chapter 3. "External components"
a) Dispensing the coffee
Attach the filter-holder arm (Ref. 10) with the dose of desired ground coffee or the pod (using the relevant
adapter filter) to the coffee unit.
Lift the lever (Ref. 12) to dispense the coffee.
On reaching the desired amount of coffee, move the lever back to its initial position to end dispensing.
b) Dispensing the hot water
Turn the knob (Ref. 2) anti-clockwise to open the hot water tap.
Once the desired dose of hot water has been obtained, close the tap by turning the knob in the opposite
direction.
N.B. Pay great attention due to the high temperature of the water dispensed.
c) Dispensing steam
Gradually turn the steam tap (Ref. 1) anticlockwise, paying great attention.
Once steam dispensing has been completed, close the tap by turning the knob in the opposite direction.
N.B. Pay great attention due to the high temperature of the steam dispensed.
