ADVANCED PROGRAMMING
HOW TO PROGRAM THE COMMUNICATOR TO GIVE A LOCAL AUDIBLE ALARM AS WELL AS SENDING A VOICE MESSAGE:
(Factory Default Alarm Off)
Quick guide: Press 1 2 3 4 > PROGRAM > 1 > ENTER > 1 > ENTER (1 = Audible, 0 = Silent)
1. Key in the four digit user Password code (Factory Default 1234).
2. Press PROGRAM > 1 > ENTER
Display will show Alarm Sound
Silent
Press 1 to change to Audible, Press 0 to return to Silent, Press ENTER to save your selection.
HOW TO SET THE TIME THE AUDIBLE LOCAL ALARM WILL SOUND ON ACTIVATION:
(Factory Default 3 Minutes.)
Quick guide: Press 1 2 3 4 > PROGRAM > 2 > ENTER > Time >ENTER (Alarm time is from 1M-99M)
1. Key in the four digit user Password code (Factory Default 1234).
2. Press PROGRAM > 2 > ENTER
Display will show Alarm Time

Press digits 1-9 to set the time in minutes between 1-99 that you wish the alarm to sound on activation. We
recommend that you do not exceed a 20 minute alarm duration. Press ENTER to save your selection.
HOW TO SET TRIGGER DELAY TIMES:
(Factory Default 0 Seconds Instant.)
Set trigger delay time between 0, 30 and 60 seconds: As a false alarm prevention feature, this is the delay
between a trigger being activated and when the Communicator starts to dial out.
Quick guide: Press 1 2 3 4 > PROGRAM > 4 > ENTER > N > ENTER
(N = 0 OR 3 OR 6)
1. Key in the four digit user Password code (Factory Default 1234).
2. Press PROGRAM > 4 > ENTER

Instant
Press 3 to change to 30 seconds, Press 6 to change to 60 seconds, Press 0 to return to instant.
Press ENTER to save your selection.
HOW TO SET ARM DELAY TIMES:
(Factory Default 0 Seconds Instant.)
Set arm delay time between 0, 30, 60 and 90 seconds: This is the delay between the Communicator being
armed or primed and the time the triggers are active or ON. Default setting is 0 seconds, or no arm delay.
Note: If an arm delay time is programmed, then the ON symbol on the LCD display will flash throughout the
programmed time delay period.
