  If water keeps running in your Glacier Bay toilet, first, check that the flapper is fully closed. Remove any debris from the flapper and the flush valve's sealing area that might prevent it from sealing properly. Also, make sure the flapper chain isn't too tight. Adjust the chain length, leaving only a small amount of play between the flush lever and the chain, to ensure the flapper can close completely.

  To improve the flush quality of your Glacier Bay toilet, ensure the water level in the tank reaches the water line marked on the flush valve's overflow tube. If it's low, turn the adjustment screw on the fill valve clockwise to raise the float cup. Also, check that the flapper chain isn't too loose. Adjust the chain length so the flapper closes completely, leaving only a small amount of play between the flush lever and the chain.
