Soundness Test (Optional)
A soundness test veri es the instrument and probe are not
leaking.
• A soundness test is performed during instrument
warm-up.
• Block the gas inlet (sample path).
• The test will last for 5 seconds.
• If the instrument and probe are not leaking the
soundness test will pass.
• Unblock the gas inlet (sample path) to continue.
• If a leak is detected, in the instrument or probe, the
soundness test will fail.
• Once the leak has been recti ed, press
B4 to retry.

The GS700 cannot be used until the soundness
test has passed.
