What to do if my Goodman AM9S80 Furnace fails to operate due to furnace lockout?
    • J
      jjacksonAug 18, 2025
If your Goodman Furnace fails to operate due to a furnace lockout caused by an excessive number of ignition retries, failure to establish flame, or loss of flame after establishment, you should locate and correct the gas interruption.

What to do if my Goodman AM9S80 Furnace is not working?
    • E
      Elizabeth WilliamsAug 20, 2025
If your Goodman Furnace is not working, it could be due to an open fuse or a short in the low voltage wiring. Replace the fuse or locate and correct the short in the low voltage wiring.

What to do if my Goodman AM9S80 isn't working, and the integrated control module LED display provides no signal?
    • R
      Ronnie DavisAug 25, 2025
If your Goodman Furnace fails to operate and the integrated control module LED display provides no signal, it may be due to no 115 power to furnace or no 24 volt power to integrated control module, a blown fuse, a tripped circuit breaker, or a non-functional integrated control module. Restore high voltage power to furnace and integrated control module. Correct the condition which caused the fuse to open, replace the fuse.

Why is my Goodman AM9S80 failing to operate?
    • M
      Matthew LiuAug 26, 2025
Your Goodman Furnace may fail to operate due to a problem with the igniter circuit, an improperly connected or shorted igniter, a poor unit ground, or an igniter relay fault on the integrated control module. Check and correct the wiring from the integrated control module to the igniter.

What to do if my Goodman AM9S80 fails to operate due to an open roll out switch?
    • T
      tammie29Aug 28, 2025
If your Goodman Furnace fails to operate due to an open roll out switch, check for correct gas pressure.
  • P

Why is my Goodman AM9S80 Furnace induced draft blower and circulator blower running continuously?
    • G
      garciajenniferAug 31, 2025
If the induced draft blower and circulator blower run continuously with no furnace operation, it may be due to flame sensed with no call for heat, a short to ground in the flame sense circuit, a lingering burner flame, or a slow closing gas valve. Correct the short at the flame sensor or in the flame sensor wiring and verify proper operation of gas valve.
