4. UNLOCKING
OF THE PROGRAMMING KEYS
The Radio Timing GTC can be protected against unauthorized external handlings by the
ability to program a security code over 4 digits.
► When pressing the «MENU» button, the following screen appears:
the indication «NO» is ashing.
► Press the «ENTER» button to access the menus directly (chapter 6)
► Or press the «+» or «-» button in order to get the «YES» indication ashing, then
press the «ENTER» button.The following screen appears :
► When the message « code ? yes/non» appears and you reply “non”, the message may
appear again if the device is not in use during a certain period of time (about one hour).
You shall then reply “non” again if you didn’t enter the code at rst use conguration.
4.1. PROCEDURE TO UNLOCK THE BUTTONS
Starting from this screen, there are two choices:
► Accessing menus without security code: In this case, pressing the «ESC» button allows
returning to normally access the various menus
► Enter your security code:
► Use the «+» and «-» buttons to adjust the rst digit (ashing digit) and press the
«ENTER» button to conrm and move to the second digit.
Repeat the process to adjust the others three digits.
If an error occurs on one digit, press «BACK» to return to the previous digit.
After validation of the fourth digit, the display shows CORRECT CODE during 3 se-
conds and then displays the rst setting menu. Access to others menus is now possible.
