6.4 Delivery Inspection
1.
Upon delivery place pallet and box on a level ground.
2.
Immediately inspect the box for any damage. A damaged box may hint at inap-
propriate handling of the refrigeration unit during transport. You must document
any damage immediately on the bill of delivery.
WARNING!
In case of severe outside damage, contact your local GOVI dealer imme-
diately.
Do not proceed with the installation.
A damaged refrigeration unit may cause property damage, personal injury and
death.
NOTICE
In case of visible damage to the box, it is advisable to take pictures of the
damage from various angles and have a third person confirm the damage in
writing. This may serve as proof to legitimate claims against the forwarder.
3.
Check for fluid leaking from the packaging.
WARNING!
In case of fluid leaking from the packaging, do not continue with the in-
stallation process.
Contact your GOVI dealer for assistance immediately. The fluid may contain
substances that need special provisions for a clean environment and may
cause injury on contact with skin.
4.
Stand firmly on level ground while carefully opening the upper side of the box.
Remove all staples.
