6.5 Preparing Installation
6.5.1 Preparing a template for the wall opening and the bore holes
Fig. 6-2 Wall opening
Use a template to prepare the trailer‘s front wall for mounting the refrigeration unit.
In some cases you can find a template for cutting the hole in the trailer‘s wall printed
on the box for delivery. Carefully cut out the template along the lines with a safety
knife. Pay especially high attention to cut the top edge straight.
If there is no template as part of the delivery or if the template is damaged, you may
ask your dealer for assistance sales@govitrailerrefrigeration.com.
You may also create a template yourself:
NOTICE
Only use pencils or erasable markers to draw lines. Other marking tools may
cause irrevocable damage to the surface of the trailer and refrigeration unit.
1.
Take a cardboard (40 in wide and 20 in high) and place it vertically on the
ground flush with the rear end of the refrigerating unit.
2.
Mark the size of the rear end of the refrigeration unit by drawing a line along
the edges of the rear end for the wall opening. The cardboard should have a
rectangle hole of approx. 11.89 in height and 16.61 in width.
