      If your Graco Paint Sprayer pump is cycling but pressure isn't building up, first ensure the pump is primed. Check the inlet screen for clogs and clean if necessary. Make sure the suction tube is immersed in the paint and that the paint pail isn't empty; refill if needed and reprime the sprayer. Also, check the suction tube for air leaks and tighten the connection or replace the tube if cracked. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the pump check valves may be dirty or damaged, or the pump check ball may be stuck.

      If paint leaks down the outside of the pump with your Graco Paint Sprayer, the pump packings are likely worn. Replace the pump packings.

      If your Graco Paint Sprayer gun stops spraying, the spray tip is likely clogged. To fix this, turn the arrow-shaped handle to the unclog position, aim the gun into a waste pail, squeeze the trigger, and then return the handle to the spray position to resume spraying.
