Why is my Graco FinishPro HVLP 7.0 Paint Sprayer not starting?
    • S
      Sherry Thomas DDSAug 20, 2025
If your Graco Paint Sprayer isn't starting, there could be a few reasons related to power. First, check the electrical outlet to ensure it's providing power and cycle the ON/OFF switch. Also, make sure you're using the correct power cord and that it's properly plugged in. Finally, inspect the circuit breaker and push to reset it. If you have a ProContractor or ProComp model in SmartStart setting, ensure the air valve before the gun is open and trigger the gun.

Why is there no fluid delivery from my Graco FinishPro HVLP 7.0 Paint Sprayer?
    • J
      Joshua GravesAug 25, 2025
If you experience no fluid delivery from your Graco Paint Sprayer, start by checking the cup for material. Inspect the container gasket for leaks and tighten if loose. Ensure proper airflow (approximately 1/4 CFM) from the male quick-disconnect. Turn the pressure regulator clockwise to check pressure, and inspect air line fittings if there's no pressure. Also, check the hole in the 1-quart remote cup cover for blockages and clean if necessary. Ensure there are no obstructions, the fluid pickup tube is tight, and blow out the material hose. For the check valve, see manual 313317.

How to fix poor atomization with Graco Paint Sprayer?
    • J
      joshuaparksAug 28, 2025
If you're experiencing poor atomization with your Graco Paint Sprayer, several factors could be the cause. A dirty gun can lead to this issue, so make sure to clean it thoroughly. Also, check the turbine and motor air filters, cleaning them or replacing them as necessary. The length of your extension cord can also affect atomization; it should be a 3-wire, 12 AWG (2.5mm2) minimum, and no more than 50 ft (15 m) long. Similarly, an air hose that's too long can cause problems, so replace it with a shorter hose, but no shorter than 20 ft (6,1 m). Finally, make sure all air hose connections are securely connected to prevent leaks.

How to fix poor atomization with my Graco FinishPro HVLP 7.0 Paint Sprayer?
    • J
      Joshua MathewsSep 3, 2025
Poor atomization in your Graco Paint Sprayer can be caused by a dirty filter. Clean or replace the filter as needed. If you're using an extension cord, make sure it's a 3-wire, 12 AWG cord that's 50 ft (15 m) or shorter. A hose that is too long may also cause this issue. Replace it with a shorter hose. See Graco Fine Finish Solutions brochure 300564, for hose part numbers.

Why does the circuit breaker trip on my Graco Paint Sprayer?
    • R
      Renee WolfeSep 5, 2025
If your Graco Paint Sprayer's circuit breaker trips, several factors could be responsible. Dirty turbine and motor air filters can cause this, so clean or replace them as necessary. Also, make sure that the power supply voltage is correct for your sprayer model. High ambient temperatures can also lead to circuit breaker trips, so move the sprayer to a cooler area. If the sprayer is experiencing excessive current draw, it should be returned to an authorized service center.

What to do if my Graco FinishPro HVLP 7.0 Paint Sprayer shuts off while spraying?
    • M
      Michelle MaxwellSep 7, 2025
If your Graco Paint Sprayer is shutting off while spraying, it could be due to a few reasons. It may be related to circuit breaker issues. Another potential cause is dirty air filters, which can be indicated by a blinking TurboControl LED indicator on ProContractor and ProComp models. Clean the turbine and motor air filters, replacing them if necessary. If you're using a ProContractor or ProComp model with SmartStart active, try releasing and re-triggering the gun. If you don't want to use SmartStart, turn the switch to the ON position.

Why is there fluid at the bottom of the cup in my Graco FinishPro HVLP 7.0?
    • L
      Lisa MillsSep 12, 2025
If you notice fluid at the bottom of the cup in your Graco Paint Sprayer, it's likely because the FlexLiner isn't installed. Make sure to install it. If the FlexLiner is damaged, you'll need to replace it.
