  If the pump output on your Graco Paint Sprayer is low, start by checking the spray tip for wear and replace it if needed, after relieving the pressure. Ensure the spray tip isn't clogged by relieving the pressure and cleaning it. Also, verify that the paint supply is adequate; refill and reprime the pump if necessary. A clogged intake strainer can also cause low output, so remove, clean, and reinstall it. Additionally, a clogged or dirty fluid filter or tip filter can restrict flow, so clean the filter. Lastly, inspect the intake valve ball and piston ball to ensure they are seating properly. Remove the intake valve and clean it, checking for nicks on the balls and seats, and replace if necessary. Remember to strain paint before using to remove particles that could clog the pump.

If the throat packings are worn or damaged, replace them. Also, inspect the displacement rod for wear or damage and replace it if necessary.
