CHAPTER 3 Settings and Measurement
(6)-8 AC Line Frequency
Select the frequency of the AC line used.
Selection item Description
50Hz For an area with a power supply frequency of 50 Hz
60Hz For an area with a power supply frequency of 60Hz
In this setting, select a frequency for noise removal using the digital filter. Note that no noise in the power
supply can be removed if this setting is wrong. For the the sampling speed where this unit’s digital filter
becomes effective, refer to “(2)-1 Sampling interval”.
(6)-9 Date/Time
Makes settings related to the GL240 clock.
The internal clock (date and time) of the GL240 can be set. Alternatively, if the Network Time setting is used,
the GL240 clock can be automatically adjusted via the network. Refer to the next section, "Network Time
Setting" for details.
<Network Time Setting>
This GL240 has the ability to synchronize the time of the clock server via Ethernet.
Perform the settings for using this function.
(1) Network Time
Enables or disables this function.
Off : This function is disabled. Time adjustment is not performed.
On : This function is enabled to perform time adjustment.
(2) Time Server
Sets the server name of a time server (NTP server) to be used.
(3) Time Zone
Sets the time zone of an area in which the GL240 is to be used. (Japan: +09:00)
(4) Synchronized Time
Sets the time at which the GL240 synchronizes to the time server. When the specied time comes, time
synchronization operation is performed using a method specied in Synchronization Mode.
(5) Adjust Mode
Synchronize at once, Synchronize gradually
Sets the mode in which the GL240 synchronizes to the time server.
Synchronize at once:
When the synchronization time comes, the GL240 synchronizes to the time server at once.
Synchronize gradually :
Even when the synchronization time comes, the GL240 does not synchronize at once.
It synchronizes to the time of the time server gradually.
The rate of adjustment is about 43 seconds per day
(equivalent to around 10 ms per 20 seconds).
