34 Getting Started
To Call An Operator
1. Open your Jitterbug.
2. Press the button on the keypad.
3. Press the button to place the call.
Minutes are used while speaking with the Operator and for the length of
any call they connect for you. If the Operator performs one of the convenient
items listed above, an additional ve minutes will be deducted from your ac-
count for the service. Most wireless carriers charge over $1 for similar
services; we keep it simple by deducting only ve minutes.
