ATTENTION
INSTRUCTIONS D'INSTALLATION
Afin de s'assurer que l'unité fonctionne sécuritairement et
efficacement, elle devrait être installée en suivant les
instructions données ici et toutes les normes locales et, en
leur absence, la dernière édition du National Electrical
Code. L'installation appropriée de cette unité est décrite
dans les prochaines sections. Suivre les étapes dans le
bon ordre devrait assurer une bonne installation.
INSTALLATION DU CHÂSSIS

. Enlever la grille frontale. Voir figure A.
INSTALLATION DU MANCHON
Pour permettre à l'eau condensée d'être drainée à l'in-
térieur de l'unité, le manchon doit être bien installé:
Mettre à niveau de droite à gauche.
Garder un léger écart du côté intérieur au côté extérieur
tel que démontré à la figure 2.
Se référer aux instructions d'installation fournies avec le
manchon mural pour une description complète de la procé-
dure d'installation.
NOTE: Le manchon mural (PBWS01A) n'est pas livré avec
l'unité et doit être acheté séparément.

La grille frontale peut être enlevée pour le nettoyage ou
rendre les numéros de modèle et de série accessibles.
Pour enlever, sortez le filtre et enlevez les deux vis.
Tirer la grille à partir du bas vers le haut en la libérant des
crochets.
2. Enlevez la vis de mise à la terre et le fil près du
symbole de mise à la terre du côté droit du châssis et
du panneau de contrôle (Figure 3). Attachez l'autre bout
du fil de mise à la terre au trou du côté droit du
manchon avec la vis à métal #8 x 3/8”. Le trou du
manchon est indiqué par un symbole de mise à la terre
sur le manchon. Glisser le châssis à l'intérieur du
manchon et réattachez le fil de mise à la terre au trou
du côté droit du panneau de contrôle à côté du symbole
de mise à la terre.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
To ensure that the unit operates safely and efficiently, it
must be installed, operated, and maintained according to
these installation and operating instructions and all local
codes and ordinances, or, in their absence, with the latest
edition of the National Electrical Code. The proper installa-
tion of this unit is described in the following sections.
Following the steps in the order presented should ensure
proper installation.
CHASSIS INSTALLATION
1. Remove front grille. See Figure A.
Sleeve installation
In order for condensate water to drain properly inside the
unit, the sleeve must be installed properly:
Level from right to left.
A slight downward pitch from the indoor side to the
outdoor side as shown in Figure 2.
Refer to the Installation Instructions supplied with the wall
sleeve for a complete description of the installation
procedure.
NOTE: Wall sleeve(PBWS01A) is not shipped with chassis
andmust be purchased separately.

Grille
The front grille can be removed for more thorough
cleaning or to make the model and serial numbers
accessible. To remove, pull the filter out and remove
the two grille screws.
Pull the grille out from the bottom and lift up from the
tabs on the top of the case.
2. Remove the grounding screw and wire next to the
grounding symbol on right side of chassis control
panel (Figure 3). Attach other end of ground wire to
the hole in the bottom right side of the sleeve with
#8 x 3/8” blunt point sheet metal screw. The hole on
the sleeve is indicated by grounding symbol on the
sleeve. Slide chassis part of the way into the sleeve
and reattach the ground wire back to the hole on the
r
ight side on the control panel area next to the
grounding symbol.
