If unit is normally off, buzzer will not sound anyway. If unit is normally on, buzzer will sound
once when the unit is reset after being energized and quickly tested. It also sounds when button
is pressed and there is important error under on state. When unit is in anti-high temp or
antifreeze protection, buzzer won’t sound.
D. Basic operation
z Turn On: Press On once when unit is off then unit be in standby state, and LCD displays temp
of thermal sensor and operation mode.
z Turn Off: Press OFF once when unit is on to stop the unit from working and make it in off
state. At that time, LCD only displays temp of thermal sensor.
z Mode Switch: It is only available to heat pump unit. Heat pump water heater only has
heating mode. To heat pump unit, if press Mode once, system mode will switch to cooling
mode from the previous heating mode, or to heating mode from previous cooling mode. If
there is error, this button doesn’t work.
z Check system temp point and state: Press Check once to enter into checking mode.
Under checking mode, auxiliary display area shows checking object, and main display area
shows the value of checked object. Press ▲and ▼ to change the check object, and press EXIT
button to quit from check mode. The checked content is as follow:
0： Undefined
1： Temp of thermal sensor
2： Outdoor ambient temp
3： Undefined
4： Undefined
5： Defrosting temp
6： Undefined
7： Exhaust temp
8： Undefined
9： Undefined
10： Undefined
11：Real-time error code
12：Defrosting and terminals ＝0XH no defrosting ；＝FXH defrosting；＝X0H no terminals
