If the motor of your Greenlee Power Tool won't run and the capstan isn't rotating, here's what you can check: * **Power Supply:** Use a voltmeter to ensure there's power at the supply circuit. Refer to the Specifications section of the manual for details. * **Switch and Wiring:** Inspect the switch and wiring for continuity. * **Motor:** Check the motor and its wiring for continuity. * **Chains:** Examine the #50 and #35 chains; replace them if broken. * **Gearbox/Motor Shaft:** Disassemble the puller (see instructions under Inspecting the Chains and Ratchet Pawl) and replace any worn or damaged drive components like a broken sprocket in the gearbox or a stripped shaft in the motor.
