What to do if the motor runs but the chain does not rotate on my GreenWorks Pro Chainsaw?

  There are a few potential reasons for this. The chain might be too tight, in which case you should adjust the chain tension. The guide bar and chain could be damaged, requiring replacement if necessary. It is also possible that the motor is damaged. In this case remove the battery pack, remove the guide bar cover, remove the bar and saw chain, clean the machine, install battery pack and operate the machine. If the sprocket rotates, it means the motor works properly. If not, call service center.
