TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
Bar and chain running hot
and smoking.
Motor runs, but chain is not
rotating.
CAUSE
Check chain tension for

Bar lube reservoir empty
Chain tension too tight.
Check guide bar and chain
assembly.
Check guide bar and chain
for damage.
REMEDY
Tension chain. Refer to
Chain
Tension earlier in this
manual.
Check bar lube reservoir.
