Why won't my Grill Chef 12736 Grill burner light?
    • G
      gwaltonJul 27, 2025
Several factors could prevent your burner from lighting. The gas cylinder might be empty, so replace it. The cylinder valve could be closed; turn it anti-clockwise. Check if the nozzles of the adjusting element (underneath the front panel) are inserted into the burner hoses; align them if necessary. The distance between the spark plug and gas outlets on the burner could be incorrect; visually inspect and correct it. The nozzle on the adjusting element might be blocked; remove the front panel and clean the nozzle with a pin. Finally, the gas system might be blocked, in which case it should be cleaned by a specialist.

What to do if I smell gas from my Grill Chef Grill?
    • S
      smithnathanielAug 3, 2025
If you smell gas, it could be due to a leak in the gas system. Immediately close the cylinder valve (turn G1 clockwise). Prevent any flames or sparks by not switching on electrical appliances. Then, tighten all gas system connections. Check all gas system components for external damage, replacing defective parts with original spare parts. Finally, check for leaks using a leak detector.

How to fix temperature too low on Grill Chef 12736 Grill?
    • J
      Jeffrey BenderAug 11, 2025
If the grill temperature is too low, it might be due to a short pre-heating time. Try closing the lid and setting the flame regulator to the maximum setting. Alternatively, the gas outlets on the burner could be blocked; remove any blockages from the burner.

What to do if my Grill Chef 12736 Grill is making popping or bubbling noises?
    • M
      martinmichaelAug 18, 2025
Popping or bubbling noises may indicate a flashback caused by blockages in the burner. You should immediately close the cylinder valve (turn G1 clockwise). Wait 3 minutes, and then switch the barbecue back on. If the problem persists, disassemble and clean the burner.
