If the pilot light on your Groen Commercial Food Equipment is lit, but the main burner won't ignite and the spark does not stay on, check the controller to ensure it's closed at a temperature setting higher than the current pan temperature. Verify 24V between terminals MV and ground; if not, replace the ignition control module. Ensure gas pressure is at least 3.5” W.C. (8.7 millibars). Check the electrical connections of the main valve to the terminals and solenoid operation for the main valve on the gas valve, repairing or replacing as necessary. Also, confirm that the secondary thermostat switch is closed.
