The motor can operate with the rated power output
(P2) at 50 °C, but continuous operation at higher
temperatures will reduce the expected product life. If
the motor is to operate at ambient temperatures
between 50 and 60 °C, an oversized motor must be
selected. Contact Grundfos for further information.

0-60 °C.
Heat protection:
> 80 °C: The pump will stop.
< 50 °C: The pump will start automatically.

13.3 Overload protection
The overload protection of the E-motor has the same
characteristic as an ordinary motor-protective circuit
breaker. As an example, the E-motor can stand an
overload of 110 % of rated current for 1 minute.
