This manual describes additional conditions or special
considerations affecting the operation of pumps in potentially
explosive atmospheres.

Grundfos produces pumps in accordance with Directive 94/9/EC.
These pumps correspond to the specifications in the table below.
Permissible pump configuration
3.2.1 Diaphragm leakage detection
DMH pumps meeting the requirements of Directive 94/9/EC can
optionally be fitted with an approved diaphragm leakage detection
with an Ex i pressure gauge meeting the requirements of
Directive 94/9/EC.

authorised personnel.

The motor and accessories for the pumps, e.g.
the metrology-based monitoring, must at
minimum meet the requirements of
Directive 94/9/EC as applicable to pumps.

The original configuration of the pump must not
be modified.
