8. Check the gap S2 both vertically and horizontally.

alignment is complete.

4.5.2 Aligning the pump and motor with a dial
indicator
1. Make a rough alignment of pump and motor, and
tighten the screws in the base frame to the correct
torque.

2. Make a mark on the coupling, for instance with a
marker pen.

3. Fasten a dial indicator to the hub of coupling
guard, make sure the dial indicator is on the outer
circumference of coupling guard.

4. Turn the motor coupling and measure the
deviation along circumference on 0°, 90°, 180°
and 270°.
