Remote Control

Besides the functions from the front panel, the remote control offers the following features:

MONITOR

MONITOR is used to listen to a tape recorder. If the recorder has a source/monitor function, this

switch may be used to listen to the tape as it is being recorded. When selected, the display shows

an M in the top right corner of the display.

This remote button selects the Essence Preampliﬁer MENU options, described later in this manual.

The black button in the centre of the remote is the OK button and is used to conﬁrm the choices

made in the menu. This is described later in this manual.

Direct input select (1-10)

The numbered buttons from 1 to 10 are used to directly select the desired input.

DAC - FILTER, DSD LP, 0/-6dB

These buttons give direct access to some DAC settings. See the chapter regarding the optional

DAC later in this manual.
