Using the Sense Terminals
Background
The sense terminals are used to compensate for the
voltage drop seen across the test leads during
quick changes in current output.
M+, M-
Meter side sense terminals.
Connect the M+ terminal to
the + positive output terminal
of the power supply. Connect
the M- terminal to the –
negative terminal of the power
supply output.
S+, S-
Sense terminals. Connect the
S+ terminal to the + positive
terminal of the load. Connect
the S- terminal to the –
negative terminal of the load.
