Description
Use the mad enable command to enable LACP MAD for detecting multiple IRF virtual devices with the
same IP address on the network.
Use the undo mad enable command to disable LACP MAD.
By default, LACP MAD is disabled.
NOTE:
This command takes effect only on dynamic aggregate interfaces.

Parameters
interface-type interface-number: Specifies a port by its type and number.
Description
Use the mad exclude interface command to configure a service port not to shut down when the IRF virtual
device transitions to the recovery state on detection of a multi-active collision.
Use the undo mad exclude interface command to restore the default.
By default, all service ports of an IRF virtual device shut down when the IRF virtual device transitions to the
recovery state.
When a MAD-enabled IRF virtual device splits into two or more identical active IRF virtual devices, all IRF
virtual devices but the one with the lowest master ID are placed in the recovery state to stop forwarding
