1.1 About this manual
These operating instructions contain information on the safe operation of this product.
Read these operating instructions and the safety instructions contained carefully before commis-
sioning the controller.
This information is intended for persons who perform tasks with or in con-
nection with the product.
Please check the version/serial number of your hardware against the
small silver label on the controller. This 8-digit number should begin with
25xxxxxx.
1.2 General description of the product
The HST-350 V2.5 is a high performance brushless motor controller for industrial use. It is able to
drive (brushless) brushless DC motors (BLDC) with block commutation.
Operating modes:
• PWM control (pulse width modulation)
• current control
• speed control
• regenerative operation
Interfaces:
• CAN (isolated CAN bus optionally available)
• ADC (analog/digital converter - „pedal control“)
• PPM (pulse-pause modulation)
