Twists and
Kinks in Tubing
After loading the harness set on the machine, a careful recheck of the loaded
disposable set should be completed to make certain that each section is in the
correct position on the machine and that all tubing is free of twists or kinks.
Twists and kinks in the tubing can result in hemolysis with high levels of plasma
hemoglobin.
