11. Failure code and troubleshooting
11.1.1 For the unit with old wired controller YR-E06 (0010400137)
Indoor Unit Fault code:
F1# Fault in temperature sensor of indoor unit
F2# Fault in heat ex
change sensor of indoor unit
F3# Reserved ()
F4# Overload in heating process
F5# Icing in cooling process
F6# Reserved (revised to “drain”)
F7# Transmission error
Outdoor Unit Fault code:
E1# Module error
E2# No load
E3# Reserved (revised to “transmission error between indoor and outdoor units”)
E4# Overheated compressor
E5# Total overcurrent
E6# Fault in ambient temperature sensor
E7# Fault in heat exchange sensor
E8# ROM of single chip micro-controller is broken
E9# Reserved
EA# Overvoltage protection
EB# Reserved (Instant power off – to prevent injury caused by incomplete capacitor discharge
line)
EC# Overload in cooling process
ED# Reserved
EE# EEPROM error
For models using a remote controller, the fault codes listed above will be converted into
corresponding flashed numbers of compressor running lamp.
The LED1 and LED2 in PCB for indoor unit are used to show fault information. Such information is as
the same as that shown by VFD display. LED3 is used to show compressor status. When the
compressor is in operation, the LED3 is ON. Below is the table of fault codes:
LED1 LED2 Remarks
