9. Brake time out
Is the brake moment of the retarder
lower than 6N.m?
Adjust the brake moment.
Is the reset spring of the retarder loose?
Adjust the reset spring.
Is the gap between the connecting arm block
and the brake arm of retarder less
than 0.8mm?
Check if the pawl can leave the ratchet for 2mm
up during spinning. If not, adjust the position of
the brake arm.
Replace the retarder.
