DOUBLE-SEAT VALVE INOVA (Type 580)
BA 058000.06 EN 15.11.2018
Serial No. Type of activity
1 If valve plates have a large nominal width DN 100 – 150, the drive sleeve with
chambered compression spring can be removed separately from the valve core.
To do this, loosen the fastening screws.
2 Expose the valve inset and the lower bushing (see Chapter 8.1)
3 Place the valve inset on the actuator case’s [39] flat surface; unscrew the lower
balancer [8]. The thread is secured with Weiconlock.
4 Screwing of the auxiliary device (threaded rod with plastic distancing ring) to
relieve the spring tension.
5 Loosen screws [40] on the upper bushing [17].
Remove the auxiliary device again.
6 Pull up the valve inset by hand from the actuator case.
(The main springs are partitioned in the actuator case).
7 Loosen the screw [36] at the upper actuator piston [32]. Dismantle the actuator
piston [32], pressure piece [31] and pressure spring [30].
8 Fix the upper balancer [12] in the vice using the locking collar.
9 Loosen the piston extension [24] at the hexagonal nut with the screwing key
and unscrew from balancer [12].
Remove the lower actuator piston [25] and the upper bushing [17].
10 Unscrew the upper valve disk [13] from the upper balancer with the mounting
device
11 Fix the lower balancer [8] in the vice using the locking collar.
Unscrew the lower valve disk [9] with the mounting device.
12 All the seals are now accessible.
13 The upper lip sealing can be removed via the upper balancer [12].
14 For lower lip sealings:
Unscrew the lower bolt
[3] from the lower bushing [2] and the valve housing [1];
pull down the bushing.
Caution – Damage to components!
The pressure spring has a slight pretensioning so that care must be taken when
dismantling the actuator (use the auxiliary device).
