8.3 Partial Disassembly – Valve inset
The partial disassembly of the double-seat valve for exchanging the seals in the product
chamber is described in this chapter.

Serial No. Type of activity
1 Expose the valve inset, see Chapter 8.1.
2 Unscrew the lower balancer [8] with the mounting device.
The thread is secured with Weiconlock.
3 Unscrew the upper valve disk [13] from the upper balancer [12] using the
mounting device and change the form sealings and the O-ring.
4 Fix the lower balancer [8] in the vice using the locking collar.
Unscrew the lower valve disk [9] and the lower balancer [8] using the mounting
device and change the form seal.
5 The three seals in the product chamber are now accessible
(see seal change Chapter 10.5)
Note:
After installing the seals, the valve disk should be tightly screwed up to the metallic
stopper.
