Inspections and repairs to the ap-
pliance may only be carried out by
authorised specialists, e.g. our Ser-
vice department (see ‘Service on
pageEN-43).
Carrying out repairs to the appliance
yourself could result in damage to
property or personal injury and will in-
validate any liability or warranty claims.
Never try to repair a defective or sus-
pected defective appliance yourself.
Only parts corresponding to the orig-
inal appliance speci cations may be
used for repairs. This appliance con-
tains electrical and mechanical parts
which are essential for protection
against potential sources of danger.
Microwave hazard!
Microwaves can be emitted if the cook-
ing chamber door is insu ciently sealed
when closed. Under such circumstanc-
es, the appliance may not be used.
Pay particular attention to the clean-
liness of the door seals and door seal
faces along with all adjacent parts.
Do not operate the appliance when
the cooking chamber door is broken
or damaged or the viewing window,
the door lock, the hinges or the cook-
ing chamber door seals are defective,
or if the cooking chamber door can-
not be closed tightly for any other
reason. Any such repairs may be un-
dertaken only by a quali ed profes-
sional.
It is hazardous for anyone other than
a competent person to carry out any
service or repair operation that in-
volves the removal of a cover which
gives protection against exposure to
microwave energy.
If the door or door seals are damaged,
the oven must not be operated until
it has been repaired by a competent
person.
Danger of explosion!
The inappropriate use of the appliance
can lead to damage or cause an explo-
sion.
Never place a mixture of water and oil
or fat into the appliance. This can ex-
plode.
Liquids and other foods must not
be heated in sealed containers since
they are liable to explode.
Eggs with shell or whole hard-boiled
eggs should not be warmed up in
the microwave, as they may explode,
even once the microwave heating is
complete. Prick holes in tomatoes,
sausages, aubergines or similar food
with a closed skin before cooking to
prevent bursting.
Health hazard!
The inappropriate use of this appliance
can lead to damage to your health.
Please clean the appliance regularly,
and remove any traces of food lefto-
vers immediately.
Particularly with poultry and dishes
containing fresh egg, and when heat-
ing up meals, ensure that the food
is fully cooked through to kill o all
pathogens (e.g. salmonella).
Acrylamide may be carcinogenic.
Acrylamide is produced when starch is
exposed to excessive heat, e.g. in pota-
