Cleaning before use
To remove the odour present in all new appli-
ances, wipe the interior with diluted vinegar
prior to first use. Then wipe it out with clean
water and dry all of the parts off afterwards.
Electrical connections
• Insert the mains plug into a properly
installed and easily accessible socket
(230 V~/50 Hz).
A beep will sound and 0:00 will flash on the
display.
• The plug socket must be located away
from the reverse side of the microwave to
prevent the plug touching the back plate.
• Do not use any multiplugs, extension
cables, timer switches or remote control
systems.
After you have connected the mains plug
with the socket, a beep will sound and 0:00
will appear on the display. (see ‘Clock’ on
page EN-14)
First-time use
A slight odour may be produced during first
use. This is non-toxic and disappears after a
short moment.
• Allow the appliance to run for 10 minutes
at 200 °C in convection mode (see ‘Con-
vection mode’ on page EN-24).
