The ‘Microwave’ operating mode is suitable
for the preparation of:
– Stews, soups, sauces
– Meat without crusts
– Steamed fish
– Vegetables
– Side dishes (rice, boiled potatoes, some
types of
pasta)
– Hot drinks
– Defrosting small portions
Microwave power levels
There are 5 power levels with the Microwave
mode.

cluding for delicate dishes such
as cheese sauces or pound
cake. When using this setting,
sauces do not boil over and
dishes cook evenly, without the
edges turning hard or the dish
overflowing.

Quick cooking / Heat Up. e.g.
for soups, casseroles, canned
food, hot beverages, vegeta-
bles, fish etc.
1. Select the ‘Microwave’ mode. (see ‘Se-
lecting the mode’ on page EN-20)
2. Turn the control dial (4) or press the
‘Heating mode’ button several times to
show the power level.
3. Press the button (25) to confirm the
power level.
4. Use the control dial to set the cooking
time to the desired cooking time.
You can select the cooking time in the fol-
lowing steps:

1–5 min 10 seconds
5–10 min 30 seconds
10-30 min 1 minute
30-95 min 5 minutes
5. Press the
button.
The cooking process will start. The appli-
ance starts. The ventilator starts. The light
in the cooking chamber will switch on and
the cooking time display will begin to count
down. As soon as the cooking time has
finished, a signal sounds 5 times and the
appliance switches off. The display now
shows the time again.
To extend the cooking time by 30 sec-
onds while the appliance is running,
press the button. The cooking duration
can be increased in this way in 30 second
increments up to 95 minutes.
QuickStart Microwave mode
This function allows you to start cooking im-
mediately, without having to make any further
adjustments. With QuickStart, cooking takes
place at full microwave power.
• Press the
button (25) in sleep mode.
The microwave will switch on and run for
30 seconds at full power (P100, 900 Watt).
The cooking time display begins counting
down.
