Stir and turn
WARNING
Risk of burns!
Food that has been heated up in the
appliance can sometimes be unevenly
heated. The containers should not get
as hot as the food inside.
Please therefore ensure to check the
temperature of any food thoroughly
and carefully, especially for children.
The contents of feeding bottles and
baby food jars shall be stirred or shak-
en, and the temperature checked be-
fore consumption in order to avoid
burns.
Baby food in particular must be stirred
carefully to avoid burns. The temperature
of the food must be checked by testing a
small sample.
When using poultry, dishes containing raw
egg and when heating up food, please en-
sure that these are thoroughly cooked, in
order that pathogens such as salmonella
are completely destroyed.
Stirring and turning the dish halfway
through the cooking time is especially
important, due to the fact that microwave
dishes are not evenly heated through.
Tips on defrosting
WARNING
Health hazard!
The defrost water can contain harmful
bacteria, especially with meat and poul-
try.
Avoid any physical contact.
Pour away the defrost water and do
not use it for anything else.
Please ensure to thoroughly clean the
crockery you have used.
Ideally, use food which has been frozen
at -18 °C in portions that are as thin as
possible.
Removal all packaging.
Place the food in an appropriately large
container, which can then collect the de-
frost water.
Do not cover the food.
