CAUTION
Risk of fi re/damage!
Improper handling of the appliance
can lead to fi re/faults.
■ Never try to open the appliance lid
by force while a cycle is progress, or
at the end of a cycle. Do not open
the appliance lid until it has been re-
leased automatically approx. 2 min-
utes after the end of the cycle.

1. Open the appliance lid (15) by reaching
under the handle and folding the lid up-
wards.
2. Turn the washing drum until the drum lock
is up.

3. To open the washing drum, (17) press the
plastic tab(24) down slightly on the small-
er section of the lid until the locking hooks
disengage.
4. Load the laundry.
When doing so, please keep to the max-
imum permissible amount of laundry and
follow the tips listed on page EN-23.
5. To close the washing drum, press the two
halves of the lid down until the locking
hooks engage.
