Before getting started
• First read chapter “Intended use” and
“Safety notices” (see page EN-4 and the
following).
• Remove the transport safety devices and
prepare the appliance as described in
chapter “Installation, connection and initial
commissioning” (see page EN-29).
• Properly attach the water inlet hose (29)
and the water outlet hose (20).
Selecting the cycle
NOTICE
Always select the cycle before loading
the washing machine. Otherwise the
loading sensor will not work.
The cycle table shows you the cycle which is
suitable for your laundry (see table “Standard
cycles” on page EN-18; for information on the
“Custom” cycle, see page EN-21).
1. To switch on the appliance, press the
button (9).
The display (6) lights up and shows the du-
ration of the current cycle.
2. Select the cycle using the cycle selector (1).
The display area (2) shows the current
washing water temperature, the display
area (3) shows the current spin speed and
the display area (6) shows the cycle time.

Start cycle
1. Open the tap completely.
2. Press the button (10).
The cycle starts as soon as the appliance
has determined the amount of laundry (ap-
prox. 1 minute).
The display (6) shows the remaining run-
ning time of the cycle. The colon symbol
between the hour and minute display flash-
es. The LED (5) lights up to indicate that
the appliance lid is now locked.
Interrupting and continuing
the course of the cycle
We recommend only interrupting the cycle
for a brief period. Otherwise, the suds will
cool down and this will negatively impact the
washing result.
