Lift motor assembly (C) to mounting plate (A).
Hang motor assembly (C) on j-hook on underside
of mounting plate (A). [IMPORTANT: Use one of
the non-slotted holes on the rim of the motor
assembly (C) to do so.]
This will allow motor assembly (C) to hang out of
the way while wiring.
With wider opening facing up, place canopy
ring (B) over top of motor assembly (C).
Allow canopy ring (B) to rest on top of motor
for the time being.

Locate mounting plate screw (J)/mounting plate
lock washer (I) on outer edge of mounting plate
(A) that is closest to the j-hook and remove that
mounting plate screw (J)/mounting plate lock
washer (I). Also, remove mounting plate screw
(J)/mounting plate lock washer (I) on outer edge
of mounting plate (A) directly opposite the one
that was just removed. Partially loosen the other
two mounting plate screws (J)/mounting plate
lock washers (I).
