What to do if the Harbor Breeze Fan remote control doesn’t work?
    • M
      mmartinAug 1, 2025
If your Harbor Breeze fan's remote control isn’t working, first try syncing the remote with the fan's receiver by pressing and holding the high and low speed buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds until the LED indicator flashes 3 times, after which the fan should start on low speed and the light (if applicable) will turn off. If that doesn't work, replace the battery in the remote with a 12V battery.

      Christina BakerAug 7, 2025
If the lights on your Harbor Breeze fan are not working, first, re-install the bulb(s). Second, ensure that the male and female plugs in the light kit fitter are connected properly. Third, turn the power off and check all connections at the ceiling outlet box. Finally, ensure that the total power of the light is not exceeding 190W, and if it is, replace the bulbs with lower- wattage bulbs.

Why is my Harbor Breeze Fan wobbling so much?
    • D
      Dawn SingletonAug 14, 2025
If your Harbor Breeze fan is excessively wobbling, make sure all screws that hold the fan blades to the blade arms and the blade arms to the motor are tightened. If wobbling continues, try switching one blade with a blade from the opposite side or use a balancing kit (not supplied). Also, turn off the power and check that the mounting bracket is securely attached to the electrical outlet box, flush and without movement. If the fan is too close to a vaulted ceiling, try using a longer downrod or moving the fan. Finally, lift up the yoke cover and tighten the set screw on the motor housing yoke until secure.

Why does my Harbor Breeze 40093 not move?
    • D
      Diana AyalaAug 20, 2025
If your Harbor Breeze fan does not move, make sure the reverse switch is firmly pushed to either the left or right. Ensure the wall switch is turned on. Check if the power is on or if a fuse (breaker) is blown. Turn the power off and inspect all connections at the ceiling outlet box for any faulty wire connections.

How to fix a noisy Harbor Breeze 40093?
    • M
      Melissa Green DDSAug 26, 2025
If your Harbor Breeze fan is noisy, check and tighten all screws that hold the fan blades to the blade arms and the motor. Replace any cracked blades. Ensure you are not using a full range dimmer switch to control the fan speed. Try running the fan continuously for 24 - 48 hours on medium or high speed for a “break in” period. Also, make sure the outlet box and mounting bracket are securely attached to the building structure and outlet box, respectively.
