Why is my Harbor Breeze CEDAR HILL wobbling excessively?
    • T
      Thomas SalazarAug 11, 2025
Excessive wobbling can occur for several reasons. The blades might be loose, so tighten all blade screws. The blade arms could be incorrectly attached; try re-installing them. Unbalanced blades can also cause wobbling; switch one blade with a blade from the opposite side. Ensure the fan is securely mounted by verifying the mounting bracket is secure. If the fan is too close to a vaulted ceiling, use a longer downrod or move the fan. Also, make sure the set screws on the motor housing yoke and hanging ball are tightened properly.

How to fix a Harbor Breeze CEDAR HILL that does not move?
    • H
      Holly AdamsAug 19, 2025
If your fan isn't moving, first check that the reverse switch is fully engaged by pushing it firmly either up. Ensure that the power is on and the fuse is not blown. If these steps don't resolve the issue, turn the power off, loosen the canopy, and check all wire connections.

What to do if my Harbor Breeze Fan operates but the lights fail?
    • T
      Tina FloydAug 27, 2025
If your fan operates but the lights don't work, first ensure the bulbs are installed correctly. Check the wires in the canopy and re-wire if necessary, according to the wiring instructions. Make sure the wall switch to the fan is on. Also, check the wires in the switch housing and re-wire if needed. Finally, ensure that the light kit is lamped with no more than 190W.

What to do if my Harbor Breeze CEDAR HILL Fan is making noise?
    • S
      Scott MckaySep 3, 2025
Noisy operation can be due to several factors. Check if the blades are loose and tighten all blade screws. A cracked blade can also cause noise, so replace it if necessary. If you're using a full range dimmer switch, replace it with an approved speed control device. Also, if the fan is new, allow it a "break in" period of a few days, especially when running the fan at Medium and High speeds.
