Section 2 Installation
Maxiva ULX COFDM Series
Pump operation is automatically controlled using a PID process/termperature controller
(PID is short for proportional integral derivative). There are two modes of pump
operation, “Local”, and “Remote”. The PID controller interfaces with the transmitter’s
“Pump Control Interface” (PCI). The controller receives signals from the PCI and sends
signals to the PCI.
NOTE:
For additional Cooling System start up information see the pump module/heat
exchanger manufacturer’s technical manuals, one for the pump module & heat
exchanger and another for the PID controller, and
Appendix B section.
