Table 2-4 BoostPro Rear Panel USER REMOTE Connections
Pin Signal Description Pin Signal Description
1 PA_VOLT_SAMPLE Analog output – 0 to 4Vdc corresponds
to PA voltage of 0 to 32Vdc
14 PWR_RAISE_CMD TTL input, 1k pullup – Transition from
‘1’ to ‘0’ will raise the power by 0.5W
when biased in FM mode and 50mW in
HD mode. If this input is held in the ‘0’
state for greater then 1 second, the
Boost Pro will increment power every
125ms by the same step size as defined
above until the input is released.
2 PA_CURR_SAMPLE Analog output – 0 to 4Vdc corresponds
to PA current of 0 to 4A
15 GND Ground
3 FWD_PWR_SAMPLE Analog output – 0 to 4Vdc corresponds
to 0 to 60W, scaling is SW adjustable
16 PWR_LOWER_CMD TTL input, 1k pullup – Transition from
‘1’ to ‘0’ will lower the power by 0.5W
when biased in FM mode and 50mW in
HD mode. If this input is held in the ‘0’
state for greater then 1 second, the
Boost Pro will decrement power every
125ms by the same step size as defined
above until the input is released.
4 RFLD_PWR_SAMPLE Analog output – 0 to 4Vdc corresponds
to 0 to 10W reflected power
17
5 GND Ground 18
6 MUTE_STAT Open-collector output – 100mA sink
capability at 0.8Vdc max, 1k pullup,
active ‘0’ state when mute condition
exists
19 GND Ground
7 RMT_FLT_STAT Open-collector output – 100mA sink
capability at 0.8Vdc max, 1k pullup,
Fault Summary: Active on PLL unlock,
temp fault, or VSWR fault.
Programmable active high or low in SW.
20
8 21 RF_POWER_ON_CMD TTL input, 1k pullup – Transition from
‘1’ to ‘0’ will enable the RF output
9 22 RF_POWER_OFF_CMD TTL input, 1k pullup – Transition from
‘1’ to ‘0’ will disable the RF output
10 GND Ground 23 GND Ground
11 24
12 25 +5VDC 5VDC voltage source – current limited to
100mA
13 AMP_RESET_CMD TTL input, 1k pullup – ‘0’ on this line
resets the controller
